Samantha Sutton-Fetch, fashion editor at InStyle, was sure about one thing — her wedding was going to be as glamorous as NYFW.
The wedding dress was designed by Galia Lahav, a powerhouse of couture, known for dressing the elite fashion girlies of the likes of Paris Hilton for her wedding, Beyonce for the Oscars, and Jennifer Lopez for her latest rom-com Shotgun Wedding. Identical to the ball gown designed for actress Nesta Cooper, Sutton’s dress featured voluminous, sheer lantern sleeves, cutout details, and a deep v-cut that gave it a more sensual nature.
From head to toe, Sutton was dripping in romance. Her messy Cinderella story-inspired updo wasn’t complete without her Jennifer Behr headpiece, which was handmade and embellished with crystals. The Larroude’s Dolly Sandal ($315) in gold metallic leather matched perfectly with the Bella Rosa Champagne Shimmer Bella Clutch ($2,250). The glitter purse’s sparkle effect leather is smooth to the touch, which means Sutton’s couture gown was safe from snags and pulls. The comfortable platform heels paired with the cleverly designed clutch made the accessories not only glamorous but functional. And who doesn’t love that on a wedding day?
In a reception outfit change that's become ever so popular among brides recently, Sutton revealed a Nadine Merabi’s Amelia White Jumpsuit ($595) with an embellished pearl mesh top and signature feather trim cuffs on the sleeve. Made from crepe fabric, the bottoms provided a subtle contrast to the intricate beading separated by a thin white belt.
And the purse wasn’t left behind at the wedding ceremony. Perfectly sized to carry all the essentials — phone, red lipstick, concealer for touch-ups — the sparkle bag kept the party going late into the night and beyond. With a custom engraving: “You’re so fetch” (a clever reference to her new last name), Mrs. Fletch will have a keepsake for years to come.
